    富美家HPL0.7mm的皮是否能做到耐磨好用?

    HPL(高压装饰层积板)的平板厚度通常是0.7-2mm。一层不到1毫米厚的“皮”,贴在基材上,却要承受日常的摩擦、刮擦、化学清洁剂擦拭。它的耐磨性从哪来?

    The answer is in the manufacturing process: high temperature of 150 ℃+high pressure of 1430 pounds, lasting for one hour. Fumeijia HPL uses virgin wood pulp paper and kraft paper as raw materials, with the bottom kraft paper impregnated with phenolic resin to provide structural strength, and the surface decorative paper impregnated with melamine resin to provide wear resistance and decorative effects. After stacking, the resin is fully cured and the board is dense and pore free by continuously applying balanced pressure at a high temperature of about 150 ℃ and a high pressure of 1430 pounds per square inch for one hour. This is the origin of the name "high-pressure decorative laminated board".

    The surface hardness comes from the cross-linking of melamine resin. Melamine resin undergoes cross-linking reaction under high temperature and pressure, forming a dense three-dimensional network structure. The hardness of this structure is much higher than that of ordinary coatings or stickers, and the surface Mohs hardness can reach a high level. Frequent contact and friction are also less likely to cause scratches. That's why HPL surfaces are "scratch resistant" - wear resistance comes from the material itself, not the surface coating.

    Chemical corrosion resistance comes from 'no pores'. The surface of HPL is dense and smooth, making it difficult for stains and chemicals to penetrate. It can resist the erosion of common acidic and alkaline substances, and performs excellently in spaces with high chemical protection requirements such as hospitals and laboratories. Daily cleaning only requires wiping with a damp cloth, without the need for special cleaning agents, reducing maintenance costs and the risk of cross contamination.

    Bending board is HPL's' hidden skill '. Flat HPL is used for walls, countertops, and cabinets; Bending plates can be heat set and bent under heating conditions, with a small bending radius of up to R5, suitable for curved bar counters and streamlined door panels. This means that HPL can not only create "flat" surfaces, but also "curved surfaces", with greater design freedom than imagined.

    HPL的“薄”不是缺点,是特性。0.7mm的厚度意味着它可以贴在各种基材上,为基材提供耐磨、耐腐蚀、易清洁的“皮肤”。基材负责结构,HPL负责表面——分工明确,各司其职。

    The "thinness" of HPL is not a disadvantage, it is a characteristic. A thickness of 0.7mm means it can be applied to various substrates, providing them with wear-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and easy to clean "skin".
